Beautiful Economical Hot Tubs

I am longing for a hot tub but I utterly despise the look of most everything on offer from the plethora of mini mall spa companies. Unless they are set completely in ground I refuse to specify them – they simply are the ugliest things I have ever seen. For my own home, this is what I want.

These beautiful handcrafted tubs actually look beautiful in the landscape and are cheaper than the ugly plastic boxes.

I love the setting for this tub and the steps that lead over the rock to the perfect view. Tubs available here.

I’m with you on this one. Big ‘ol boxes filled with water are hideous to look at. I built our hot tub into our deck and don’t regret the effort or expense one bit.

The tubs all come from http://www.woodentubs.com which I think operates out of Alaska — but ship everywhere. I am not sure this is in ground – I think the deck is elevated…but you can ask them directly.
If you buy one, we would love to see how the project comes out!
