I know I have mentioned it before, but my garden really is a test bed for a huge variety of garden experiments. I can’t help myself….perhaps it is the physicist in me….but I am always putting some theroy or method to the test in my own garden-y way.
Care to see the projects and the conclusions or ongoing lab trials I have currently going on? Join me in the slideshow….
Make sure you check out all my other GDRT cohorts and their stories of their own gardens.

I vote wholeheartedly for the bottom paint color (the more pale yellow), especially with Cotinus, don’t paint the picnic table, and when I came to visit you and your garden, I don’t recall ANY mention of a zip line. Um, we’re going to have to do something about that!
I agree wholeheartedly with Andy – the bottom color gets my vote. Thanks for sharing your experiments with us, too! I’ve had the same experience with bok choi – I blame the vegetable, not our gardening skills. But then, that’s what I always say.
For the barn, go modern. Choose the lighter colour for the whole of the building, but do random strips of various thicknesses along the siding.
Your garden looks like a fun, experimental place, Rochelle. thanks for sharing it with us.
Look at me, I’m a rebel, I LOVE the top color!!
