Blog of the Week: Invisible Bees

I have had a very busy weekend and subsequently haven’t had a moment to post. Lots of big events wrapped up over the last couple days, so I have begun to focus in the next big thing in my life; a holiday trip to southern California. We will visit with my husbands’ family as well as my own as they will be traveling to there too, to see us. It is a big trip and as it the next thing to sort out in my personal life, I thought I would share these images with you. They are the lovely snaps of Alexa over at Invisible Bees. While Colorado has already seen it’s first big snow of the year, it is still fall and I have been thinking about how different Colorado fall is from New England Fall. It comes with thinking about home, family, the holidays, and a big trip. Alexa’s images bring me home and bit, as does her lovely blog.
I have a couple other posts tonight …. I’ve got California dreamin on my mind and a little inspiration for you from a place who gets to garden a lot longer than we new Englanders.

Rochelle, you are so kind to include Invisible Bees in your Blogs of the Week.
I’m afraid I’ve been a bit lax in posting now that my attention is turning toward the last 6 weeks of my pregnancy, and I may just “close up shop” for the rest of the year and take a maternity leave… but I find your words and our long distance connection very encouraging. I grew up in the NE and now live in CO, you grew up in CO and now live in the NE… one day we’ll have to meet for drinks in the Midwest!
May your trip to Cali be filled with peace and perfect adventures — no matter how you define them.

Oh yes, I can imagine a good stiff drink sounds really good to you right about now!! Good luck with everything…it’s all great in the end (trully I found having a baby for the first 6 week, far easier than the last 6 weeks of pregnancy)– and being a pregnancy hater (I have to admit), while hard and painful and exhausting, labor and delivery was the best part of the 9+ months. I’ll be thinking of you…and looking forward to a someday cocktail and your return to the bloggy land.
