    Rochelle’s 3 random things…
    1) when I was young I briefly had a raccoon for a pet.
    2) I know ‘instant’ is passe…but I staunchly defend my instant espresso habit…3 huge cups a day.
    3) my idol top 4 in order are…adam, allison, chris, and lil….gokey doesn’t make my cut.

    3 random bits from Charmaine:

I haven’t yet decided what I want to be when I grow up.

My husband and I have lived together for almost two decades without pets. We recently adopted both a cat and a dog and are completely ga-ga over them.

Beautiful gardens fascinate me; but I loathe gardening…ironic, considering I am president elect of our local garden club….sigh.

Hello from the blogging course! Here are my 3 random things:
    1) I studied wildlife biology as an undergrad
    2) I eat two eggo waffles every morning for breakfast
    3) when I was little I wanted to change my name to be Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz because I loved that movie so much (still love the movie!)

    Ooh, I’ll play!

    1) I spent a two years in college in a primate research lab doing behavior studies with monkeys (nothing medical!) which meant I got paid to feed tamarins mini-marshmallows. Best job ever.

    2) I’ve seen 4 total solar eclipses in my lifetime. My family travels to see them (weird – I know) so we’ve been to Mexico, Curacao, the Black Sea and Turkey.

    3) Uncles are transitory in my life: both my parents only have sisters, and they have all been divorced and remarried multiple times. Uncles come and go, aunts are forever.

    3 random things…
1- I had most of my left lung removed 2 years ago and am doing fine without it.
2- I embrace solitude and quietness over most music and conversational chatter.
3- I am morbidly fearful of public speaking. On one occasion I could not even go on stage to accept a design award and instead stood super glued to the floor unable to move or speak.

    Heather’s 3 Random Things-
    * I am desperately afraid of fist. Not the eating kind, the kind that can eat your feet when you can’t see them.
    * I sort of believe in Big Foot, I think most Northern Californians do.
*Ground Hog day is my favorite holiday of the year!

I mean afraid of FISH, not fist. My hands are cold from watering in the wind, lol

I am laughing out loud…I was just about to go google “fist and eat feet” — even funnier is that I too am crazy afraid of FISH — I have too many stories for any rational adult woman of beaching myself (in bikini) on coral reefs, walking (literally) on water from fear, crazy screaming etc etc…all from FISH fear.

    How fun!
    1) From the age of 5 until I went to college, I’ve had to pick rocks out of corn and soybean fields for my dad. I was paid $5 an hour to do this. Not a bad job for a young kid but I was certainly happy to graduate!
    2) I quit a high paying finance office job to go back to school to become a landscape designer. I’m not paid as well but I’m much happier!
    3) I just finished my first art exhibit – a 23 foot long jumbo water bottle for “Waterosity” summer exhibit at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. My partner and I had to collect over 7500 water bottles to fill this bottle up! This was worst than picking up rocks!

    2) I’m rarely able to make it through an entire movie without falling asleep.
    3) I’m convinced that the day my boyfriend and I finally adopt a puppy will be one of the most exciting days of my life.
