DIY Outdoor Garden Chandelier Round-up

I am eager to get home (on a red-eye flight tonight) and back to some projects and normal life. I have a patio project going on that should be nearing completion this week.  Once finished, I am excited to start adding features — like a beautiful garden chandelier. I have lots of great, inexpensive, DIY options that I have rounded up for your inspiration and my own.  My personal favorite for my particular project is the beaded dollar store option, what is yours?

DIY Chandelier garden glass jar

Here’s a simple DIY garden chandelier tutorial from Ecologue. It’s a great way to reuse little glass jars you may already have at home.

The full tutorial for this basket variety is at sunset magazine.

beaded chandelier

This outdoor chandelier was made from beads found at the dollar store and the full directions can be found at dollar store crafts.

large bubble chandelier

These elegant glass Bubble Chandeliers can be made from directions found over at Re-Nest .

diy air plant chandelier

It’s not lit, but still a beautiful concept.  Airplant chandelier Images and directions from Modish.

It’s just a simple pot rack….but stylishly mixed candles and succulents create quite a pretty scene. From Erin Ever After via rue de vamp.

clothespin chandelier

Clothespin chandelier — while there is no instructions for this one, I think an infinite number of designs could be generated from just playing with the idea.   Found at Apartment Therapy.

And finally, this branch fixture seems easy enough to recreate and would be perfect over a garden table. From Remodelista.

Thanks for including my beaded chandelier along with your other stunning choices!! I want to make some of those (the baby food jar chandelier would fit with my current surplus of jars!)

I have a lovely old wrought iron chandelier that uses candles for its light source.
This past weekend it was so hot most of the candles melted over on themselves and fell to the table.
I have clusters of tillandsias ( air plants) ties to the chandelier . Thank goodness they didn’t fall into the pile of warm melted wax below.
